Journal of Psychoactive Drugs

Founded in 1967 as the Journal of Psychoactive Drugs, the Journal continues under the editorial leadership of Joseph Guydish, PhD, of UC San Francisco, with input from founding editor David E. Smith, MD. Look for its index of theme issues on subjects including “Psychedelic Drugs and the Law” (1967), “Sexological Aspects of Substance Use & Abuse” (1982), ” Dual Diagnosis” (1989), “Process Addictions & Prescription Drug Abuse” (2012), “Cannabis in California” (2016), and much, much more.
